The Saddleback Valley Community Choir

Rehearsals start Thursday, May 31st 2012

There will be a weekly rehearsal every Thursday

@ The Gate

Church and Community Center

22521 Avenida Empresa, Suite 105, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688

 from 6:30pm-7:15pm

**A three-month commitment is required**

Anyone High School age or older is Welcome to join!

**There will be no auditioning**

 **Choir experience preferred**

&

** a $10 MUSIC FEE**

About the Leaders

David Habib Bardowell

Mr. Bardowell is a graduate of California State University Long Beach with a Bachelor of Music Degree – emphasis Choral Conducting.

Bardowell served as choral director and music director at the following schools, theatres and churches:  Cypress High School, Warren High School, Irvine Valley College, Saddleback College, Downey Civic Light Opera, Saddleback Church, Fellowship of the Woodlands, Shoreline Community Church, Mission Hills Church, The Gate Community Church.

Bardowell has also performed professionally with the following music groups:  Richard Carpenter (of The Carpenters), Jan and Dean, Mike Love of the Beach Boys and has made appearances on such shows as Full House with John Stamos.

Bardowell brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Saddleback Valley Community Choir and hopes to share his experience and knowledge with you.

 

Robert Gottshalk

Bob Gottshalk began his singing career at the age of 7yrs in his church and children’s choirs.  While singing through high school and college choirs, he concentrated on oratorio as a soloist.  After the army, he began his career as a high school choral director.  His choirs sang for college music departments and joint concerts with other high schools up and down the east coast.  He took his choir on a 17 day, 13 concert tour of Iceland, France, Germany, and Belgium.  After 35 years, he retired to Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.
